A little background: I previously had Quadravox AQ430X installed on Msp430
this machine as well as an older version of the IAR Kickstart IDE. Both Drivers
have been uninstalled completely via the add/remove programs wizard.
Current problem: I've installed the most recent version of IAR
Kickstart and when I plug in my EZ430 debugger, the only device that
shows up in the device manager is 'MSP-FET430UIF - VCP (COM4)'. I don't
see the 'TI USB FET' device that would allow me to program and debug,

I've reinstalled IAR Kickstart several times and I still can't get the Msp430 usb debug interface msp fet430uif drivers driver
USB FET driver to load. Can someone help me out with a suggestion(s)
for getting the USB FET part of the driver to load (and correct the VCP
issue also, if necessary)? Perhaps this is more of a Windows XP issue,
